Herramienta software para el manejo del ratón orientada a discapacitados motóricos

Se describe aquí la experiencia del desarrollo de una herramienta software gratuita, diseñada para ayudar a la gente con discapacidades motrices a manejar el puntero del ratón de ordenador. Esta clase de software conocida comunmente como "headtracker" se basa en la interpretación computacional de los movimientos de la cabeza capturados por una camara web convencional de bajo coste y muchos otros dispositivos de captura de imagenes. Los fundamentos del diseño inicial se describen, asi como los cambios y mejoras añadidos debidos a las experiencias y observaciones durante el trabajo de campo con personas discapacitadas dentro del entorno de la educación.Downloads
