En el campo de los estudios de los lenguajes y de las tecnologías en Brasil, el libro Letramentos digitais - traducido por el editor Marcos Marcionilo - trae innumerables contribuciones al aprendizaje lingüístico mediado por nuevas habilidades y nuevas estrategias de cómo trabajar pedagógicamente no sólo los conceptos de las teorías, pero también la aplicación / integración de presupuestos teóricos a las prácticas de enseñanza de lenguas y tecnologías actualmente; que conectan profesores y estudiantes, posibilitando no sólo asimilar los aportes teóricos mencionados, hacer que los profesores, sobre todo de la educación básica puedan apropiarse de una taxonomía y de una explicación reflexiva acerca de los letramentos digitales.
