The Digital Competence of educators and teachers is increasingly called for the renewal of educational practices, so it is urgent to prepare future teachers for an integrated school in the digital society. This study aims to know the opinion of future teachers regarding their knowledge and use of educational technologies in educational practices to identify inhibiting and propelling factors for the use of digital technology. This article is part of the IFITIC Project, which aims to rethink educational practice with ICT in the initial training of future teachers in order to promote methodological renewal in Pre-school Education and in the 1st and 2nd Cycles of Basic Education. This is a quantiqualitative study whose data were collected through a questionnaire survey in the 2017/2018 school year, with open and closed questions, applied in three institutions of Public Higher Education, responsible for initial teacher training, two from the North of Portugal and one from the North of Spain. In this article, we deal with some data concerning 111 Portuguese students in initial teacher training, using a descriptive statistical approach. The information obtained allows us to conclude that there are factors that inhibit the integration of digital resources in educational practices and other drivers of such practices. We expected to contribute to a reflection on the use of ICT in initial teacher training.
