Competence in digital entrepreneurship is considered key for citizens in the 21st century, as it integrates entrepreneurial and digital skills necessary to face the challenges of today's society, although its development in the university environment is still an unexplored field. The aim of this article is to analyse the self-perception of digital entrepreneurship competence in university students in the last year of their Bachelor's Degree in Spanish public universities, within the framework of the EmDigital model. A quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive and correlational cross-sectional approach was used. The sample was made up of a large population of students from different Spanish public universities, selected by stratified probabilistic sampling. Data collection was carried out using a validated Likert-type questionnaire. The results show that students have moderate-high levels in all dimensions, with action planning standing out as the best valued, while implementation and collaboration obtain the lowest score, especially in relation to the real intention to undertake. The dimensions are moderately related to each other, which confirms their independent character within the model. Overall, the findings show a dichotomy between students' high theoretical self-perception and low practical initiative, which highlights the need to incorporate experiential learning methodologies in university education to promote the real implementation of digital entrepreneurship
