O uso do computador na educação infantil: Um estudo de caso no Distrito Federal

O texto apresenta resultados de pesquisa de iniciação científica desenvolvida nos anos de 2002, 2003 e 2004 por meio da qual foi realizado um mapeamento de instituições de educação infantil do Distrito Federal que têm laboratórios de informática, um levantamento de representações de professores acerca da informática educativa e um estudo de modalidades de uso do computador na educação infantil. A investigação adotou abordagens qualitativas e quantitativas e suas conclusões indicam uma grande carência de ações de uso do computador na educação infantil, apesar da existência de posturas positivas por parte dos professores. O estudo denuncia a grave disparidade entre as realidades das redes pública e particular de educação infantil e evidencia a necessidade de intervenção do poder público nesse campo.Downloads
